Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME top-level domain is the sole TLD intended for personal websites only. These domains can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are popular by. At first, only third-level registrations were possible, so if you wanted to obtain john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already taken third-level domains remained running.

Through our company, you can order your .NAME domain for a time interval between one and ten years. You will have the opportunity to alter the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer authorization key from the present registrar firm and we will renew it when the transfer has been finished. There are no particular prerequisites on who can acquire a .NAME domain name, but in order to preserve the idea behind its establishment alive, the .NAME Registry may verify who the owner is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain, the registration could be challenged.
